Three decades of woodworking experience means you are getting a meticulous professional who has honed his skills in the traditional way and truly cares about the quality of his work.

In commissioning a project with Fine Wood Designs, you’ll deal exclusively with Martyn, from planning through to completion, for a personalised, one-to-one, full-service experience.  Martyn will listen to your wants and needs, add in his expertise, and then design it with you, build and install it for you and bring your dreams to reality.

Martyn can handle the most complex exterior doors, handmade furniture and built-in cabinetry projects.  You will find the same dedication to quality and attention to detail in every job he takes on, no matter the scale.  His passion for woodworking and full custom approach means he can incorporate the kind of unique details that make every project truly an original. He is equally experienced at working on projects for contemporary homes as well as period properties, including Grade 2 listed properties.
